plugs tobacco. Drew
flour. Had regt. [regiment] inspec-
tion [inspection] by one of the staff offi-
cers [officers]. [Private Amanuel] Russell
profered [proffered] charges against
General [Jeremiah C.] Sullivan. I was
in a swimming [illegible].
[Private. Amanuel] Russell, [Private Samuel P.] Fleak + [Private Jesse] Burton
+ Lieut. [Lieutenant] [William G.] Mosely still
under arrest.

+ pleasant. [Private] Geo. [George] Bates,
[Private] John Norris, and several
of the boys and myself
went out and killed
[illegible] sheep for the Regt. [regiment]

are released from arrest.
