Their Clothing Is, as Is already known to most every body, better made up, ana out of better materials than those generally kept by similar establishments, and they are still able to do what thevnlwavs have done to sell them AT LE 'ST 30 PL It CENT CHEAPER than any other house this side of the Eastern cities possitiiy can. E. a M. Hess have often been questioned, how it is that they can sell Clothing so much cheaper than the other stores, and at the same time sell better (roods, too. They can account for It in plain words f They have their own Manuiactory, in Balto, where they have their clothing made up, expressly tor this Western market, nesiues, iney ouy uieir material uui oi uu in -i usjiu, and pay the ready cash for them. They pay nothing but cash tor making, where other merchants about thla section ot the country go and buy goods wherever they can get them on time, consequent I y they hsvc to pay well for them at the start, nnd then they generally buy whatever they can got, no matter whst It is, good or nau. It is wel) known to a (treat many of our citizens here, that E Sl M. Hess have sold more clothing In the two years since they Orst established their business here than all the other clothing tores combined. It is easily accounted for. Their motto Is, ' Large $alt and mall proJUt." Besides, they always have had the largest stock of clothing that could he found In Columbus, and noli! mem so very cheap, consequently iney are seinnp nearly all the readv maile elotlniiLt that is sold in Columbus. Their present slock winch they have now on hand throws all former firnvnln riitirelv into the bai k uround, and in regard tn rjuality and cheapness far surpasses any assortment ever brought and examine their atock and prices, and then Judge lor tbem elvei.
