Thompson, of Ind.. being present, upon a can of the Convention, made t very animated and eloquent speech, in which he assured ua that Indiana would cooperate with Ohio in the great cause in which the true Whis Democracy are engaged. The committee on National Affairs, by their Chairman, J. W. Gailay, Esq., reported the following Resolutions, which were unanimously adopted: Jtetolvcd, That the good of the country imperiously demands s chsnge in the administration of the National Government such a change as will effectually prevent a further continuance of the reckleaa war which haa been waged upon the interests of the people for the benefit of office holders such a change aa will, from henceforth, produce a union of feeling and interest between the people and their official agents: snd that it ia tlie paramount duty of all those, throughout the Union, who are opposed to Ihe present misrule, to prosecute this object by vigor and concert of action, and by the sacrifice of all personal and local partialitiea and prejudices which stand in the wsy of its attainment. Retolted, That concert of action by the Whigs throughout the United States can be beet secured by meana of a National Convention) and this Convention, therefore, concur in the recommendation of the Slate Whig Convention, held at Columbus in July last, to that effect and alao concur in the proposition lately made by the Whig members of Congress, as to the time and place of holding National Convention. On motion of Col, J, Kilbourn, the following resolution waa adopted: Retolted, That the State Central Committee be re-quesied to prepare an Addreu, in accordance with the spirit of this Convention, to the people of the State of Ohio. On motion, the Convention adopted by a unanimous vote the following preamble and resolutions: Whereas, the Senatora In Congreas from the State of Ohio, (Messrs. Morris snd Allen,) have not sustained and represented the settled and leading political principles of a large majority of the people of the State, Mr. Morris having received hia appointment prior to the great change in public sentiment in relation to the ruinous course pursued by the Administration and Mr. Allen having reached his elevation to the office of United States Senator, by the operation of the odious apportionment bill, which waa shaped regardless of every correct principle, and in its tendency disfranchises a great portion of the voters of the State) haviug had alone for its object, the subserviency of party purposes; without any reference whatever to the public weal: And whereas, these gentlemen have anatained the Administration in its recreant course of misrule, and have violated all thoae sacred obligations resting on them, to adhere to the known will of their constituents, of which they have had abundant evidence, act only from the knowledge from actual trial, in the elec tion ol uov. v ance, and the majority which General Harrison had in thia State over hia opponent in the laat Presidential election, but from the will of a majority of the People, fully expressed in sundry resolutions adopted and passed by tlie last General Assembly of Ihe State of Ohio: And whereas, these gentlemen have more especially misrepresented the State, in their votes given on the Suo-JVeosury Bill, by which Ohio, through her representatives in the Senate of Ihe United Statear ia made to avow principles which she does not tolerate principles which the great majority, of the People of tha Suu tvsli ualAuljitMl- tn striker a fittaV hlow at the w i-eWfpw, i t msMawnn ss ther have tendency to vest rn the hands of the Executive, discretionary powers over the entire fiscal operations of the Government, not contemplated in the Constitution, by which, toe, he may affect the currency of the country, and thereby check (according to hia caprice,) its enterprise and prosperity, in ehort, veating in him power known only to be olaimed by the most sbsolute monarch: Raolrtd therefore, Thst this Convention, in sccordanea with ths known will of s large majority of lb. people of the Stsie of Ohio,, enter its solemn protest sgainst the course pursued by Messrs. The committee on National Affairs, by their Chairman, J. W. Gailay, Esq., reported the following Resolutions, which were unanimously adopted: Jtetolvcd, That the good of the country imperiously demands s chsnge in the administration of the National Government such a change as will effectually prevent a further continuance of the reckleaa war which haa been waged upon the interests of the people for the benefit of office holders such a change aa will, from henceforth, produce a union of feeling and interest between the people and their official agents: snd that it ia tlie paramount duty of all those, throughout the Union, who are opposed to Ihe present misrule, to prosecute this object by vigor and concert of action, and by the sacrifice of all personal and local partialitiea and prejudices which stand in the wsy of its attainment. On motion of Col, J, Kilbourn, the following resolution waa adopted: Retolted, That the State Central Committee be re-quesied to prepare an Addreu, in accordance with the spirit of this Convention, to the people of the State of Ohio. On motion, the Convention adopted by a unanimous vote the following preamble and resolutions: Whereas, the Senatora In Congreas from the State of Ohio, (Messrs.
