Having visi. ted the " Eastern cities " but a lew weeks since, where wo visited a gret.1 many of the best Daguerrean Galleries, but we did not see one sky light among them all. About thrco years since, there was considerable excitement in the East about sky lights, bill they are now being abandoned entirely, as a perfect humbug, except by a lew who are about a year behind the times. Any one wishing to prove the truth of those facts, let them get n likeness taken by the " sky light procei " then come lo our gallery, and get one taken by n superior light, and they may see the difference, incurs being at least fifty per cent, better. Likenesses taken of children in one second of time, from 10 A. M. to 2 P. M in pleasant weather. Light blue and white dresses should he avoided for daguerreotypes. About thrco years since, there was considerable excitement in the East about sky lights, bill they are now being abandoned entirely, as a perfect humbug, except by a lew who are about a year behind the times. Any one wishing to prove the truth of those facts, let them get n likeness taken by the " sky light procei " then come lo our gallery, and get one taken by n superior light, and they may see the difference, incurs being at least fifty per cent, better. Likenesses taken of children in one second of time, from 10 A. M. to 2 P. M in pleasant weather. Light blue and white dresses should he avoided for daguerreotypes.
