Bertha Margaret, wife of Reno Dillenschneider, died Jan, 24,1910 atTier lateTesideiice at Fremont. The deceased, whose age was 23 years, 9 months and 9j£days was the daughter of Rev. and Mrs. C. H. Althoff, of near Hessville. She was born April 15, 1886 and was baptized soon after her birth, her sponsors were Rev. F. W. Loewjerjstine and Mrs. Margaret Saarn. She was eon- firmed April 15, 1900, and April 28, 1909, she was married to Reno Dillenschneider, of Fremont, O. She was baptized, confirmed and married at the Emanuel Lutheran church, near Hessville, by her father, Rev. Althoff, who has been ^the pastor for twenty four years. She leav- \ es to mourn her loss, a husband, | infant daughter, father, mother, six sisters, Mrs, Herman Haar, of Elmore, and the Misses Ida, Ma¬ rie, Martha and Louretta Althoff, of near Hessville and Miss Anna Althoff, of Fremont, and four brothers, Emil and Louis Althoff, of Fremont, Carl Althoff, of the Capital University, at Columbus, and Luther Althoff, of the Nor¬ mal School at Woodville. The funeral services were held Thurs¬ day afternoon, Jan, 27, 1910 at St. John's Lutheran "church, at Fremont, Rev. W. E. Rose and Rev. W. E. Tressel officiating, and the interment was in Oak- wood cemetery at that place. The pall bearers were Messrs. Emil, Louis and Carl Althoff, Henry Heim, Reed Dilenschneider and Dr. J. F. Eberhart. Those who attendedthe funeral from out of town were Dr. Eberhart and son Jack, Mrs. Henry Schaffing and John Bergman, of Cleveland, Mrs. Ferdinand Waggoner, Mrs. Herman Hildebrand, Mrs. Fred Moellman, M-r, and Mrs. Carl Moellman, Miss Emma Loe wen- stein, and Win. Freytag, of De¬ troit, Mich., Mrs. Andrew Buii- denthal and Ed Bundenthal, of Dayton, Paul Althoff, of Colum¬ bus, A. F.
