Full Text	[Page 1]Aug 15, 1920 The Haar Reunion 1920 The minutes of the 10th Haar Reunion.The 10th annual reunion of the Haar family was held at the Wood's of Mrs & Mr. Fred Haar of Elmore, Ohio. the ground was carpeted with permey Royal, and the lovely forest trees gave shade to all. there were 75 present, and a bountiful picnic dinner & supper were served, with and[sic] abundance of ice cream, and Lemonade. nobody suffered any serious results, except Mr John Haar had a stomach ache. but by the time the tea kettle was hot ready for the permey Royal tea to brew. The surprised us all and straightened up and was out on the Ball fieald. the game was played by the married & single men. The married men were defeated. But had the married Ladies not been to fat to sit on the rail fence and rooted for them I doubt but it would of been their game, of course the young Ladies sat on the bleechers and Rooted for the young men. so some praise was due to them.
