The full text of the proposed amendment shall read as follows:
Article V.
Section I. Every citizen of the United States, of the age of twenty-one years, who shall have been a resident of
the state one year next preceding the election, and of the county, township, or ward, in which he or she resides, such
time as may be provided by law, shall have the qualifications of an elector, and be entitled to vote at all elections.

being duly sworn say that the 47 persons signed this part of the foregoing petition, each signed in my presence,
and to the best of my knowledge and belief each signature on such part is the genuine signature of the person whose name
it purports to be. I believe that each person who has signed said part is an elector. Each person signed said part with
knowledge of the contents thereof, and signed the same on the date stated opposite his name.
