Description	Jessie Edmunds Durbin (1880-1936) of Stow, Ohio kept this autograph book as a teenager. Many of her friends and family members signed it and included verses of advice. It provides a rare glimpse in to family relationships in the late nineteenth century. Included among the signers are Jessie's mother Adella Edmunds Durbin, her father Robert, and her sister Lottie. The book is approximately twenty-five pages and measures approximately 5" x 7" (12.7 cm x 17.8 cm), a selection of which are included here. The Durbin family was prominent in Stow in the nineteenth and early twentieth century. It is descended from William Wetmore of Middletown, Connecticut, who first settled Stow in 1804. In 1920, a city park and arboretum was named after Adella ("Adell") Durbin.
