Description	Two photographs taken by Edward Bronson in 1932 show the Kingsbury Park Pool in Defiance, Ohio. This city swimming pool was a community project for which most of the labor was donated. It was dedicated on August 18, 1929. The photographs measure 12" x 3.75" (30.48 x 9.53 cm). Bronson (1873-1965) was a three-term mayor of Defiance, managed the local opera house, and was involved in numerous civic associations. In addition, he was an amateur photographer who recorded daily life in Defiance. The Edward Bronson Photograph Collection consists of 798 photographic prints created by Bronson between 1906 and 1949. The collection is housed at the Defiance Public Library. Copy prints are available at the Center for Archival Collections, Bowling Green State University.
