Board met at 8 A. M. on call of the
president. Alderman, O Bleness and Bush
were present. The object of the meeting
was to adjust the accounts and fix
Some equable basis for sletting of water
accounts on high points, as we have
not been able to give service on the
hills since March 13, 1907. also to
adjust the account charged for sprinkling
from May 1, 1907 to Nov 1, 1907.
A. Resolution
The following resolution was offered
by Alderman. Be it resolved by the
Board of Trustees of Public Affairs of
the Village of Athens, Ohio, that owing to
our crippled and poor water service
(due to the March flood) and in fact not
being able to furnish water to Hill tops
nor allowing the use of water for
Sprinkling the Supt is hereby authorized
and instructed to close all such accounts
from May 1st by giving a time credit for
all money received May 1st and due
Nov 1, 1907 for Sprinkling and all accounts
Charged from May 1st and not collected by
reason of not being able to furnish water
Be it further resolved that the time
for collecting the November water rents be
extended from the 10th to the 20th of
November there to adjust the accounts
in accordance with this resolution.
