Description	This 3.25-by-4-inch (8.26 by 10.16 cm) magic lantern slide features an airmail plane at Cleveland, Ohio in the 1920s. The accompanying card was meant to be read while the image was displayed on a screen. It announces the new airmail system. Items mailed in New York could reach California the next day. This slide is part of a collection of magic lantern slides made by the Keystone View Company of Meadville, Pennsylvania and purchased by the Elmore Special School in the early 1920s.
