Description	These special regulations were issued to trainees in the Navy V-12 unit at Bowling Green State University during World War II. The booklet is 14 pages long and measures 8.5" x 11" (21.59 x 27.94 cm). During World War II (1941-1945) college campuses were used to provide training for Navy and Marine personnel. Bowling Green State University used its new airport to train pilots for action; women were also trained in civilian training programs. This helped to support the college during the war years, when enrollment otherwise would have dropped. The program paved the way for the veterans taking advantage of the G.I. Bill after the war and for the R.O.T.C. (Army Reserve Officer Training Corps) programs following the war.
