Description	Biographical Notices of State Officers and Members of the Fifty-ninth General Assembly of the State of Ohio was published by John Wallace in Columbus in 1871. It provides brief biographical sketches of Governor Rutherford B. Hayes, his cabinet, and members of the state legislature. The author also includes brief commentaries on his subjects. Representative Jared Dunbar of Steubenville, for example, is described as "a man of considerable talent; moderately corpulent, good-looking, well-behaved, and will be in Congress before many years, if we mistake not."
