No. 3 An Ordinance
To prescribe the duties of Mayor
of the Incorporated Village of Centerburgh.
Section 1 be it ordained by the
Village Consul of the Incorporated
Village of Centerburgh that on
the complaint of any citizen under
oath or affirmation to the Mayor
of said Village that any Person or
persons have violated any of the
ordinances of said Village made to
preserve the peace and good order
therein, it shall be and is hereby
made the duty of said Mayor
to issue forth with his warrant
to the Marshall or other proper
officer of said Village commanding
him to apprehend such Person so
Charged with the violation of such
ordinance and on his or her
Being Brought befor Said Mayor
to here and determine the
same and if said Mayor shall
find the persons so charged
guilty of the same he shall assess
such fine and make such order
on the Premises as shall be authorized
by the ordinance so adjudged to
have been violated.
Section 2 that any Person may be
brought before the Mayor for
trial, either by a summons
or by a or by a warrant
founded [illegible] upon an affidavit issued
by the Mayor or upon arrest by
the Marshall by the [crossed out] upon view
Section 3 but the Mayor before issuing
a warnt May require the complainant
to give Bonds to the Village of
Centreburgh with the surty conditioned
for the appearance of the complainant
