September, Monday 3. 1883.
The day was pleasant.
Stafford and I worked at the
fair grounds all day, Hunter looked
afer work and got stuff ready &
brought out a load in P.M. Vance
and veits finished shelling varieties of
wheat. T.J. Scanlen [crossed out] Nelson Hall [written above] plowed wheat
ground all day.
The Station exhibit was taken to the
fair ground to day.
Tuesday 4.
The day was fine.
Hunter,Devol and I finished placing
fair exhibit in A.M. Vance chored at
odd jobs and helped Hunter clean &
sack wheat. Viets took noted on corn
and vegetables & picked beans.
Scanlen [crossed out] Hall [written above] plowed all day.
Our exhibit at the fair is very fine.
Wednesday 5.
The was very fine.
Hunter did errands shipped wheat
and helped to clean wheat.
Vance worked on wheat most of
day. Veits shelled and picked beans
Hall plowed all day.
Stafford, Devol and I were busy
at the fair grounds.
