Description	This baseball card features Cincinnati Reds third baseman Edward L. Grant, nicknamed "Harvard Eddie." A native of Massachusetts and a Harvard University graduate, Grant (1883-1918) also played for the Cleveland Naps (later the Cleveland Indians), the Philadelphia Phillies, and the New York Giants. In 1908 and 1909 Grant led the league in at-bats and in 1909 he was second in the league in hits. Grant died October 5, 1918 at the Battle of Argone Forrest, France in World War I. The card is part of a larger collection of Cleveland Naps and Cincinnati Reds baseball cards issued by the American Tobacco Company. It measures 1.5" x 2.625" (3.81 x 6.66 cm).
