Description	This first issue of The Elyrian was published in February 1913 by the students of Elyria High School. George Sharp, son of ambassador to France William Graves Sharp, was one of the business managers of the magazine. Although there were no faculty censors listed in the first issue, the next two issues were reviewed by faculty members. The Elyrian is divided into three sections: literary, athletics and humor. The publication maintained its appearance and format through December 1917, when it became an annual yearbook. The issue included here was published in May; it is 31 pages long and measures 6" x 9" (15.24 x 22.86 cm).
