First Baptist Church of Delaware Proceedings to Establish Church

              Delaware Aug 6th 1853 
Pursuant to a call of a Conference of Baptist Brethren 
& Sisters in Delaware Delaware County Ohio 
A Council convened at their place of Worship to consider 
the propriety of Recognizing Said Conference [caret] as [written above line] an 
Indipendant Church. The proceedings were opened 
with prayer by Rev D A Randall  Rev Henry Davis 
of Columbus was appointed Moderator and Brother 
E T Rawson of Columbus Clerk  The following Brethren 
then presented their Credentials and were recognized as 
members of the Council
