Description	This 8" by 11.5" (20.32 by 29.21cm ) patent was issued to Henry Barnhart and Edward Huber for improvements to the traveling crane. The document describes the patent as pertaining to "the improved construction and combination of the traveling crane which is adapted to be employed in digging out embankments or other work of a similar character." The six-page document includes three pages of illustrations. The Marion Steam Shovel Company was founded in 1884 by Henry Barnhart, Edward Huber, and George King to produce steam shovels and other digging and dredging equipment according to the innovations of Henry Barnhart.
