In¬ deed, much more than sympathy has been expressed in acts of valor and high courage; the clersry of all denominations have contSiued to carry forward the torchlof God and humanity even at tth risk of their own lives. Many have met death In sup¬ port of their conscience and in loyalty to the highest ideals of faith ami religious tradition.
