Fire Chief Charles Edwards was instructed to contact prospective architects as the next step in the building program for the new fire station. Notice of sale of the $150,000 bond issue has been published, and the purchase of the Davis property on Church street is in process of completion. In other action, council agreed to comply with the request of Amherst township trustees to bill the township quarterly for fire protection, but refused the re quest for area-Wide building per mits to Richard Masters, repre- Time Change Amherst residents, along with those of the rest of Northeastern Ohio, will change their clocks to Eastern Daylight Savings Time this Sunday, April 27. Clocks will be turned a-head one hour, early Sunday morning, and then back the hour on the last Sunday in September. People are reminded to adjust their clocks so that they will not be late for Sunday church services.
