Paulis a social studies teacher and building department chairman at Hoover HighSchool. He has taught twenty - two years, sixteen of these in the North Canton City School System. Paul is representative of a teacher who practices quality education in the classroom, in extra - cur- ricular activities and in his community involvement. Paul is always willing to help others in creating a better educational situation frif,.their students. As department chairman, he has displayed outstanding leadership in curriculum development, student needs,staff enrichment, and a general growth in the socialstudies program. Besides his daily obligations, Paul is junior class advisor advanced placement history instructor, and junior high cross country coach. Three Projects Win Awards Winners of the 1982 Design Awards from Akron Chapter of American Institute of Architects are Vicar y Hill Historic Mansion Reuse of Canton which was designed by the Wilson Architectural Group ofNorth Canton; Quaker- Square- Quaker Square Hilton in Akron; and New Falls Parking Deck in Cuyahoga Falls.
