Announce New
| Library Schedule
The Cleveland Heights Public
! Library will operate on a reduced
j schedule for the summer months,
| Miss Nell Lynch, Librarian, an-
j nounced Monday. This action,
I taken by the Board of Library
! Trustees, is due to the present
| shortage of professional staff and
I the necessity of allowing time for
: staff vacations.
| The new schedule, beginning '
j June 1st, will continue through j
! September 7. In order that the [
' public be inconvenienced as little i
■ as possible, the Main Library at
Coventry Road and Washington
Boulevard will continue to be open
for twelve hours each day, Monday
through Friday, from 9:(X) a. m.
to 9:00 p. m. It will be closed
only on Saturdays.
Although on a forty-hour-a-
week schedule instead of sixty-
four, the Lee Branch at Lee and
Dellwood Roads, and Noble
Branch, at 2800 Noble Road, will
be open three evenings each week
to accommodate those people unable to come to the library during
j the day.
The schedule for both of these !
I branches will be the same: Mon-;
i day, Wednesday and Friday open
from 1:00 p. m. to 9:00 p. m.;
i Tuesday and Thursday open from
j 9:00 a. m. to 6:00 p. m. Both
| branches, as well as the Main j
; Library, will be closed on Satur- ;
days.
The High School Branch Li- j
I brary will be open as usual during
j the summer school. The hours !
| will be from 8:00 a. m. to 12:00.
