With a total enrollment of 7,868.
Cleveland Heights schools opened
yesterday with 283 more pupils than
were registered on opening day last
year, Supt. 'Frank L. Wiley announced.
Most of ihe increase was in ele-
iry grades. Wiley said, and a
further Increase is expected as ad-

the week.
The enrollment was reported as
follows: Klemontary grades, 4,165;
junior high grades, 1,681; high
school, 1,981; special opportunity
school. 41.
