There were sit-ins, brutal attacks and stands against violence. In the end, freedom was achieved - at least in part. "There is no question that the Civil Rights Movement was a defining time in American history..." said Marc Morial, CEO of the National Urban League. "It significantly changed the landscape of the country." It has been chronicled in countless news stories and books. Most people who participated, watched it unfold, or learned about it later agree that it was the seminal protest crusade in U.S. history. But they disagree on when it started, when it ended and how it should be identified: Was it the civil rights movement or the Civil Rights Movement? Sixty years after the Montgomvety Bus Boycott, the story of the Civil Rights Movement still is being written, historians and activists say. Some consider it a historic era. They believe that referring to the movement informally or generally - in the lowercase - minimizes its im portance. One-hundred years from now, "Civil Rights Movement" will indicate that something monumental happened. But others say the movement was a series of events that started when Continued to Page A3 New Faces Win Primary Races AKRON, OH ? Judith Lynn Lee and Atty. The hacking group Anonymous has just unleashed "Operation Trump" (#OpTrump), a mass urging of its followers to launch cyberattacks against Donald Trump's websites on April 1 in an attempt to expose the "appalling" GOP presidential f'rontrunner. "We need you to shut down his websites, research and expose what he doesn't want the public to know," a person wearing the group's trademark Guy Fawkes mask says in a video posted by to an Anonymous YouTube channel. "We need you to dismantle his campaign and sabotage his brand." In a separate written statement. Anonymous encouraged hackers to target donaldjtrump.com, trump.com and trumphotelcollection.com, as part of the overall web takedown. Anonymous also released Trump's alleged personal details, such as his cellphone number and Social Security number. "Dear Donald Trump, we have been watching you for a long time, and what we see is deeply disturbing," the video says. "You have shocked the entire planet with your appalling actions and ideals." "You say what your current audience wants to hear, but in reality you don't stand for anything except your personal greed and power," it adds. Anonymous, an anarchist activist group, initially declared digital war on the Republican presidential frontrunner last December after Trump proposed to ban all Muslims from entering the U.S. But nothing ever came of it. In the new video posted recently, Anonymous claims that "loyalists and veterans" of the group had decided to relaunch the attempt "on a larger scale." "This is a call to arms," the video says. "This is a call to protect our future, our freedom and our very way of life." But the group insisted Operation Trump, or#OpTrump, is "important" given Trump's "disturbing" policy positions. "This is not a warning, this is a declaration of total war," the video says. "Operation Trump engaged."
