Miss Edna f)eetz, daughter of
Mrs. Lena De^az, died in Toledo
State hospital, Toledo, Friday,
June 21. Early in life she became
a victim of that dread disease tuber-
eolosis, and for sometime was con¬
fined in a sanitarium in Mt. Ver¬
non Ohio. She returned to er
home here after her condition im¬
proved some, but later it was neces¬
sary to have her confined as a pa¬
tient in the tuberculous ward in the
State hospital, where, since May 12,
1931, she had been a charge.
Miss Deetz had reached the
of 26 j^ears, 7 months and 7 days,
having been born in Elmore, Xov.
14. 1908. She is survived by her
mother, several aunts and uncles
and other relatives. Her father,
Harmon Deetz, died Feb. 19, 1927.
She was confirmed in Trinity Lu-
theran church June 10, 1923, dur¬
ing the pastorate of Rev. E. Bliss,
from which church funera1 services
were held Monday afternc ii. Rev.
