tend the funeral of Mrs. Carrie Bald-

died in that, city Friday.
Mrs. Baldwin was 76 years of age,
and had been in ill health for some¬
time. Her condition was not thought
serious, but Friday a stroke set in and
she died shortly afterward. She was
a widow, her husband having died
many years ago. Mrs. Baldwin was
one of Cleveland's wealthy and prom¬
inent women, and her funeral Tues¬
day was largely attended. -She was
also well known in Port Clinton where
she Visited er niece on many occa¬

Funeral services were held from the
home in Cli vel'and Tuesday afternoon,
with interment in the cemetery there.
