Foreigner Killed.
Frank Bitzel, Hungarian, aged 25
and employed by the American Oyp*
sum Co., was struck by a Nortnwest-
ern traction car at Payne's stop Satur¬
day evening and received injuries from
which he died two hours later at the
Pool hospital. The man evidently in¬
tended to board the car and deliber¬
ately walked across the track ahead of
the car. The car struck him and hurl¬
ed his body off the track. The injured
man was picked up and brought to the
Pool hospital but bis injuries were

The deceased's,father lives at Am¬
herst and a sister at Cleveland. The
funeral was held Monday afternoon
from the Catholic Church, Rev. Dr.
Krnnane conducting the service. The
rial was in Lakeview cemetery.
