Death of F auk Bodette.
P'rank Bodette died Wednesday morn¬
ing at 7 o'clock, after an illness of about
six weeks. He had been suffering for
some months with cataral usl.hma which
resulted in dropsy.
Mr. Bodette was born in 1825 at or
near Detroit. His parents were driven
from their home by the Indians and
they came to Toledo where Mr. Bodette
learned the trade of ship building, fol¬
lowing that until he bought his present
farm sometime in the sixties, while this
section of the country whs still new.
He was a faithful member of the M. E.
church of which he had long been
connected. He leayes to mourn his loss
a wife and eight children: William of
Panama, Edward of Toledo, Charles of
Bowling Green, Herman of Genoa,
Mary Bartlette of Casey, III., Francis
Brown, Toledo, Ella Sohlacter. Toledo,
and Emma .Johnson, Genoa.
Funeral will take place tomorrow,
Saturday, at the M. E. church, at 1
j'clock, p. in., Rev. Stein officiating.
