1st Degree Murder.
Three men were arrested at Delta.
Sunday, and are now in the county
jail, charged with the murder of De-
tejtiye.Jiasa^at Graytown. They are
Harry Brown, Peter Williams and
Leonard Nolta. They are men between
24 and SO years of age and have police
records. All of them live in Toledo
aud the officers claim to have a strong
ease against them, It is claimed that
Brown did the shooting but both of the��other men are in it just as bad, as titey
are held as accomplices,
They were taken before Justice G-al-
ieher, Tuesday, and were charged'with
first degree murder. To this charge
they waived a hearing and were bound
over to await the action of the grand
jury, which meets in October. They
are now locked in the cage at the jail
and will be kept there, as Sheriff Stark-
loff will refuse to let any prisoner have
the freedom of the corridor until the
walls of the jail are lined with iron or
