'North West street Sunday afternoon at id
half past one o'clock. Services were
under the auspices of the Odd Fellows
lodge of Bellevue.with sermon by Rev.
; II. P. Richards, and the interment took
-,; place in Bellevue cemetery.
'i; Coroner Vermilya came over . from
Fremont Friday afternoon and after
viewing the remains and having ques¬
tion Dr. Richards and Undertaker Har-
/ ris, deemed and inquest unnecessary
and said that death was undoubtedly
due to heart failure.' -
George Bodette, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Frank Bodette, was born on 'a farm
near Genoa, March 1, 1851, . Here' lie
grew to manhood apdj was married to
iss Mary Stevens of Genoa in 18J3.
Two children were born to this union,
Bertha, now the wife of Philip E. Man¬
ner, of Genoa, John Bodette, of Cleve¬
land. Mrs. liodette died in 1873.
A few years later Mr. Bodette was
united in marriage to Mrs. Laura Reed
of Genoa- About twenty years ago
they moved to Bellevue, where Mr.
liodette was employed for a number of .
years as salesman in A. Ruffiiigs dry f
goods store. Upon resgining this posi¬
tion he entered the employ of , the Ohio
Cultivator company, and later was em¬
ployed as traveling salesman for the
Roderick Lean company, of Columbus,
and was sfcilHn .the employ of.this firm
at the time of his death. Mrs. Bodette
preceded him to the other world three

Funeral services over the remains of yi
the late George Bodette took place from ,
the home of John Beattle on North West -
street Sunday afternoon at half-past one
'I o'clock and were largely attended.
I Bellevue lodge. I. CO F. had charge;
j of the services and Rev. II, P. Richardsj
delivered the sermon. A quartet com¬
posed or J. H. Brinker, B. A Hun-
singer and Mesdames Addie Htgbee and
' F R Ebert furnished the music.
' There were, many beautiful floral
^offerings and the remains were laid
to rest in Bellevue cemetery. ^ .
