Mrs. Margaret Bahnsen, 66, wife of
August Bahnsen, died at her home on
the Port CI in ion-Lake side road Satur¬
day morning-, after being confined to
her bail with Illness tor only two

Mrs. Bahnsen had been in excellent
health during' the greater pari of her
lite, and was always active in the
many affairs about this community.
Last^pring she suffered an illness, but
was not thought to be serious until
two weeks ago, when she became
>rse, and had to remain in bed.
vo days before her death her condi¬
tion took a sudden turn for worse,
and it was seen that the end was near.
She passed away Saturday mornnig.
Margaret Marie Bahnsen was born
.Langenhorn province Sehleswig.
ermany, on March 31, 1564, At the
^e of three she came with her folks
to this country locating: in Sandusky.
Moving to Port Clinton a few years
later she spent practically all her life
this city. Shortly after her birth
she was baptized by the pastor of the
Lutheran church of Langenhorn, and
has since been affiliated with that
church, as one of its faithful mem¬
bers. On March, 24, 1891, she was
.married to August Bahnsen. This mar¬
riage was blessed with two sons, Her¬
man and Milton. Besides the two sons
she is survived by her husband ami
three sisters find one brother.
The funeral services were held at
};(■:■ home Tuesday afternoon, the Rev.
S, K. Strauss, former pastor of the
St. John's Lutheran church, officiat¬
ing. Interment tools place in River-
view cemetery.
