Dies In Findlay
Funeral services were neld in
Rochester, Ind., this afternoon for
Mrs. Bebe Burkins, 25, of 119
I9th-st., Findlay, wife of former
Port Clintonite William C. Burk¬
ins Jr. and daughter in law of
Mrs. Pauline Burkins, of Jackson

Mrs. Burkins was pronounced
dead on arrival at Mt. Blanchard
hospital at Findlay Saturday at
5:50 p.m. Her body had been found
in the basement of the home by
her husband. A verdict of suicide
by hanging was returned by Dr.
Byron Voorhees, Hancock-co. cor¬
oner.
Mrs. Burkins had recently taken
leave of absence from her position
as assistant supervisor of nurses
at Mt. BlancharJ hospital. The
couple was expecting their second
child in November.
She had gone to the basement
to wash Saturday, and it was there
her body was found. The couple
lived in Port Clinton for a time
after their marriage, and was well
known hore. Mr'. Burkins is asso¬
ciated with the Ohio Oil Co. at
Findlay.
Surviving with the husband is
one son, Scott Calvin, four; her
parents, near Rochester, Ind. two
sisters, Mrs. Soma Ranstead of
South Bend and Michele Ann Moll-
enhour, at home. She was born
in Mentone, Ind., June 15, 1933.
She was a member of Christ
church in Rochester.

Brothers funeral home in Roches¬
ter, with burial in Mt. Zion ceme¬
tery there.
