MASONIC. BURIAL MONDAY

held Monday with burial here at noon,'
the funeral rites being1 in charge of
the loca) Masonic lodge of which the
deceased was a member. The follow¬
ing obituary was read at the funeral:
Leroy Adelbert Baugbman was
born at Augusta, Mich., July 19, 1819,
and died at Toledo, October 7, 1921,
aged 72 , years, two months aud 11
days. He resided with his parents en-
til four years of age when his fath?.r
died. Soon thereafter he, with his
mother, moved to a farm near Wood-
ville(Ohio), where with his aunt, Mrs.
Crooks, he lived until he was about 14
years of age,-wheu he moved to El¬
more(Ohio), to learn his trade of
bhicksmithhig.
During these years of his young,
manhood he was active in the Presby¬
terian church, was for many years
superintendent ox their Sunday school,
and while working in this capacity he
became acquainted with Miss Eoretta
J. Pennar to whom he was united in���niarriage .September 11, 1R73. To this
union were born two children, a son,
Edward,' who died at, the age of 23
years, and a daughter, Angle Loretta,
now Mrs. Park W. Decker, who with
her mother, survives the departed.
In December, 1S99, they moved to
Toledo where he was employed for a
few years by the Toledo Scale Co., but
for the past 14 years he was a loved
employe of the F. Bissel Electric Co.,
which was evidenced by the contribu¬
tion of lovely flowers by the employes
aod the proprietor of this company.
For many years'he has been a mem¬
ber of the Masonic order at Elmore
baving passed through most of th<
offices of that lodge. In keeping witl
the care and respect of that gxea
order a number of the brethren wen
present to administer the last rites t
heir departed brother.
