An Invalid Many Years
Last rites were held on Thurs¬
day afternoon for Mrs- Frank
Beck, 56, of Elmore, who died on
! Monday night in the family res¬
idence. Services were held in
: Trinity Methodist church at 2 o'¬
clock, with her pastor, Rev. G.C.
, Dibert, officiating and Albert H.
Burmann, local funeral director,
in charge. Interment was in the
Pleasant Union cemetery at Old
Fort, Ohio.
Jennie Pearl Beck, daughter of
Josiah and Ardella Shidler, was
born in Fpstoria on June 8, 188-1.
She was united in marriage to
Frank Beck of Fort Seneca.Ohio,
on March 5, 1902, and a year lat¬
er was baptized in the United
Brethren church at Old Fort and
many years later, after coming to
Elmore, she became a member of
Trinity Methodist church.
! Mrs. Beck was the mother of
three, children, two daughters
and one son; the son, Morris, hav¬
ing met accidental death in early
'manhood a few years after the
family moved to Elmore; one
daughter, also, having preceded
ithe mother in death. For many
lyears she has been in ill health
' and for seven years was an inval
id suffering intensely at times.
She is survived by her husband
one daughter, Mrs. Gayetta Dar
ling, a granddaughter, little Nan

and two sisters: flarry Shidler o
Lindsey and Mrs. Ida Oiler o
Tiffin and Mrs. Carrie Henretty
of Tustin, Mich.
