Mrs. Abraham Bell.
The body of Mrs. Anna G. Bell,
widow of the late Abraham Bell who
died in Georgetown hospital, Virginia.
January 12th, was brought here for
burial and the funeral held from the
residence of her son, Glenn Bell, on
Fifth street, Tuesday afternoon. Mrs.
Bell made her home with her daugh¬
ter , and when she became seriously
ill was taken to the hospital by order
of the attending physician.
Mrs. Bell was of old pioneer stock.
She was married to Abraham Bell and
moved to Rocky Ridge when that
place was a. thriving lumber town. Mr.
Bell was engaged in the general mer¬
cantile business. He also dealt in
timber and bought a farm, which he
platted into lots. This venture prov¬
ed unprofitable, and this misfortune
together with the credits he extended
to his patrons caused him to fail. The
family then moved to Port Clinton and
here they lived unti line death of Mr.
Bell, many years ago.
After her husband's d.eath Mrs.
Bell made her home with her daugh¬
ter, Mrs. Nellie Reynolds and still
later with another daughter, Mrs.
Madge Beach, Washington. She was
SIS years of age at the time of her

She is survived by three sons, Bert
of Genoa, Clinton of Bellevue and
Glen of this city, and two daughters,
Mrs. Madge Beach of "Washington and.
Mrs. Nellie Reynolds of LeRoy, O.
The funeral services were conduct¬
ed by Rev. Mr. Crosby, pastor of the
tl. B. church. The body was laid
rest in Lake-view cemetery.
