Jack Bolte Dies
At Magruder,
Rites Saturday
Death at 1 p.m. yesterday in
Magruder hospital claimed the
life of John Henry "Jack" Bolte,
widely known Catawba Cliffs resi¬
dent and head of the Bolte Pro¬
ducts Co.
Husband of Mrs. Ann Bolte and
father of Eugene Bolte of the Bolte
Realty Co., widely known and pop¬
ular Jack had been ill for a year.
He was hospitalized much of the
time the past several months.
He also leaves two grandchild¬
ren, John and Cindy Bolte; a
brother, Vernon Bolte of Minne¬
apolis and a sister, Mrs. John
Taylor of Champaign III.
His body is at the Gerner and
Wolf mortuary where services will
be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday
by the Rev. Lee Lindenberger of
Put-in-Bay. Burial will be made
in Riverview cemetery.
Masonic services will be con¬
ducted at the funeral home at 8
tonight. He was a 32nd degree
Mason and a Shrine member. He
belonged to the Elks lodge and
was a member of St. Thomas
Episcopal Church.
Jack was a member of A.F. &
A.M., Ancient Accepted Scottish
Rite, Valley of Toledo; Zenobia
Temple, A. A. O.N.M.S., Toledo.
Elks will conduct services at
7:30 tonight at the funeral home.
Exalted Ruler Lyle C. Mayhew
said Elks would meet at the lodge
home on Perry-st at 7 o'clock.
Born in South Dakota, January
2, 1899, Jack came to Port Clinton
in 191S, and was for many years
with the Standard Products Co. A
skilled craftsman, he opened his
own metal products company on i
north Jcfferson-st ten years ago,
and his work became widely
