AS AUTOS COLLIDE

Killed Near Genoa,
Port Clinton, Jan. 2—Miss Itene
gahttsen, IS, who was crowned
queen of the Ottawa county peach
festival at Catawba Island last fall,
was killed and three companions
were injured early Wednesday
when their automobile collided with
another car in the Woodville road,
west of Genoa.
Miss Bahnsen, a junior in Port
Clinton high school, was the daugh-���of Mr. and Mrs. Sanke Bahn¬
sen, of Bay township.
.eo Wagner, Larry Spriggs and
Miss Alice Spriggs suffered minor
injuries. With Miss Bahnsen, they
had spent New Year's eve at Rain¬
bow Gardens, near Fremont, and
then had started for Toledo.
Coroner H. E. Whitacre, of Wood
county, was told that Mr. Wagner,
who was driving, attempted to pass
a car which was parked without
lights, and collided with a car head¬
ed in the opposite direction. He was��not held.
Besides her parents. Miss Bahn¬
sen leaves a sister, Delores, and
brothers, Raymond, Wayne and
Robert.
ie funeral will be Saturday
afternoon in St. Paul's Lutheran
church, south of Oak Harbor.
