Mrs. Mctta Becker, wife of James
H. Becker, a formlmore resident,
died in her home in Newport Rickey,
Fla., on New Year's Day. The body
was brought to the M. J. Slessman
home in Clyde where the funeral
service was held on Sunday afternoon,
with burial in McPherson cemetery at
Ctyde. Mrs. Dromgold, sister of Mr.
Becker, her son John Dromgold and
wife, who were here from Cleveland,
and grandson, Laurie Dolph and wife
attended the funeral from here.
Mrs. Becker lived in Elmore many
years when her husband was associ¬
ated with his M.her in the bicycle
business in Elmore, When the. fac¬
tory was moved to Clyde in 1894 she
and her husband went there and lived
there until he 'sold out his interest in
what ther had become the Elmore
automobile factory. Then they took a
home on Long Island .,at their winters
were spent in Florida where they were
at the time of her death on New
