Mrs. Eugenia O. "Blood, 61, life¬
long resident of Ottawa-co, was
found dead Friday afternoon at
the home on Erie-Carroll road,
Oak Harbor Route 3, into which
she had moved only the preced¬
ing week-end.
Only a few days earlier, she had
completed arrangements to sell
1 Duck Inn, Route 2 tavern, which
j she had operated for many years.
i A daughter, Mrs. Jeanette Fieri of
I. Oak Harbor, found Mrs. Blood
I dead at her home, seated in a
\ chair. A verdict of death by natur-
j al causes was returned.
Funeral services were conduct¬
ed at 2 todav from the Neidecker-
Eberle-LeVeck Funeral Home by Pas¬
tor Harry Holapfzel of St. John
Lutheran church. Burial w'as made
in Lakeview cemetery.
Mrs. Blood was the widow of
Frank Blood, and was born here
Sept. 12, 1897i the daughter of
William and Lillian Menier Owen.
She is survived by her mother,
Mrs. Lillian Owen of Port Clin¬
ton; sons, Louis Foster of Sher¬
man, N.Y., Charles Blood of Elk¬
hart, Ind. Eugene Blood of Gary
Ind. and Francis Blood of Oak
Harbor; 'daughters, Mrs. Mary
Groth of Toledo, Mrs^ Jeanette
Herl of Oak Harbor, Mrs. Harol-
dean Lessentine of Lakeside; and
20 grandchildren.
The family designated the Heart
Fund as favored recipients of
