Death of Mrs, Wm. Brokate.
Mrs. Wm. Brokate died at her home
in Erie township, Thursday evening,
April 23rd, aged 59 j ears. 1! mouths
and 19 day<?o3
She was born In Hanover, Germany,
May 4, 1843, and was married to Wm.
lirokaie March 31, 1862. To this union
twelve children were born, three of
whom died in infancy. In 1800 she,
with her husband and one son emi¬
grated to America and settled at La
Carne at the home of her sister, Mrs
John Libben, but soon after moved to
a place of their own in Salem township.
In the spring of 1897 they moved to a
place near Oak Harbor, where they
lived until the autumn of l'.lOO, when
they moved, to their present home in
Erie township.
She leaves a husband, live sous, four
daughters and a host of relatives and
friends to mourn her loss.
