ELMORE, 0.,-Death of Christ Henry Arnold, 65, 103 Canton street, was caused by a. heart attack, Dr. C. R. Wood, Ottawa county coroner ruled today.
Automobile 55 driven by Mr. Arnold and Howard James, 44, rural Elmore, collided Monday at 2:20 p.m. on Route 105 a quarter mile east of Elmore.
James told Ottawa county dep¬ uty sheriffs • that he was driving east on Route 105 and was pass¬ ing Arnold, /C?S9
Arnold's car kept crowding over toward him. James said he tried to avoid contact, but the left front of ^mold's vehicle caught the right rear corner of his oar. James said he was forced off the road.
The Arnold car continued on and [ rolled off the road into the ditch. When deputies arrived, Mr. Arn¬ old was dead.
Funeral services for Mr. Arnold will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in St. John's United Church of Christ, Elmore, with the Rev. Ralph Schmidt officiating. Bur¬ ial will be in Union cemetery, Elmore.
A native of Perrysburg. he was born July 17, 1894, the son of the late Andrew and Susan Bauer Arnold. He had resided in El¬ more for 59 years.
Mr. Arnold was employed as a truck driver for the Charles Kuhlman company, oil and gaso¬ line distributor, for 32 years and school bus driver for the Harris- Elmore school for 71 years.
Surviving are his widow, Mil¬ dred, teacher in the Harris-El¬ more school; a sister, Matilda Hurrelbrink, Elmore, and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Sa« broske and Myers funeral home from Tuesday evening until noon Thursday when removal will be made to the church for services at 2 p.m. when the casket will
