ILLED IN CRASH
Momineetown Man Victiiii In Auto Collision;
Thomas- Ames, 45, ! of Mommee- town, wa£ ivlllea almost . instantly and Charles La'r, also ot Mominee- town, was slightly injured when two autos collided at Consaul-st and Lam gendorf-rd on Wednesday.
According: to police, Ames,., who was riding with his son,' Warren,f was hurled thru the windshield into' a concrete bridge abutment when the auto collided with an auto driven by Orvey Fetzer.
Both Fetzer and .Lair, who were riding in Fetzer's auto,, were pinned under the auto when it turned over in a ditch after the collision.
Fetzer and tire younger Ames escaped without injury, while Lair received minor bruises.
Ames was taken to a nearby phys¬ ician's office, where he died without regaining consciqusness. His skull wras fractured. s- Both drivers claim their vision was impaired by rain on the windshield.
