Port Clintonites this week were mourning the untimely death of a former citizen, in the person of Walter Antone, 60, who Friday night was electrocuted while at work in the Cleveland Welding Company at Cleveland.
Mr. Antone, a native of Port din- ton,; is said to have met instant deatfi, while working in the plant. Word of his death reached here Sat¬ urday. A sister Mrs. Joe Glueckle resides in Port Clinton.
Mr, Antone attended the Port Clinton schools, and later shipped on a lake vessel where he became chief engineer. About ten years ago, he is said to have gone tc Cleveland to become a welder.
Married to a former Marblehead girl, Mr. Antone is also survived by a son. Funeral services were held in Cleveland Monday, followed by buriel in Olmstead Falls, O.
