The native of Elmore was bora December 26, 1900, son of the.late Welby and Stella Oster Ames. Resident of Flint for 46 years, he was retired from the Buck fac¬ tory there. He lived "in Alliance" before going to Flint. Mr. Ames died unexpectedly Tuesday in Flint Osteopathic hospital
Surviving are one sister, Mrs, Eric (Liela) Petersen. Flushing, Mich,; mo aunts, Mrs Edlthj Ames and Mrs. Edith Wood, both | of Elmore, and several cousins. He never married.
The deceased was a member of Kearsley Evangelical-U.B. church and the Flint Movie club.
