Forner.Resident Dies In Michigan
Rites for Welby Ames, 54, a former! resident of this place, who died in his home in Flint, Michigan, last Friday, were held from Trinity M. E. church here Monday afternoon, Rev. Palmater, pastor of the Evangelical church of Flint, of which church Mr. Ames was an active member, had charge of the services. Burial was made in Union cemetery.
Mr. Ames suffered a paralytic stroke about nine months ago and it is thought he suffered another which resulted in his death.
Mr. Ames is survived by his wife, one daughter and a son, also one sister, Mrs. G. G. Wood and one brother, John; Ames, and his mother, Mrs. David Ames, of Elmore.
