¦S William Arndt was born in Meck- linburg, Schwerin, Germany, May 3, 1834. He was baptised in infancy and confirmed at the customary age. Mr. Arndt left Germany and emi¬ grated to America at the age of 28 years. He arrived in Buffalo, Aug. 4, 1862, and resided here for one year when he moved to Port Clinton(Ohio). yu~<r> '+, /<?£&

pa^ yea? I Mr. Arndt followed wagon making profession, then* went to farming until his health failed, when his son took over the work. Mrs. Arndt preceeded him into eternity on the 30th of - March 1877. -¦ May 6, 1926, Mr. Arndt suffered from a stroke and was bedfast until iie was called out of this life into the life to come Nov. 4th, at 4:30 p. m. He attained the age of 92 years, 6 months and one day. ij
To his loss mourn 6 children: Wil-! Ham, Fred, Mrs. Pauline Finkeri, Mrs. Louise Floro, Mrs. Mary Her¬ ring and Mrs. Anna Miner, 25 grand¬ children, 36 great grandchildren, one great, great grandchild, many other relatives and a host of friends.
