HONORED ELMORE
WOMAN DIED SUNDAY
Mrs. H. N. Aldrich, a highly esteemed woman of Elmore, passed away at her home early Sunday morning after an illness that extended over a year and that confined her to her bed dur¬ ing the last six months. She suffered a great deal but bore her trials patiently and with true Christian spirit.
The funeral was held from the late home Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Rev. Miller of Trin¬ ity M. E. church officiating as¬ sisted by Rev. Athey of the Church of Christ. The W. R. C., of which she was a" charter - member, conducted their serv¬ ices also. Burial in Union cem¬ etery.
Josephine Luckey, daughter of Geo. W. and Jane Luckey, was born near Elmore (Ohio), Mav 3, 18*43. She was married to Harlow Aldrich. Dec, 11,1873, and with the exception of two years spent in Genoa, she has always Jived here. Her husband preceded her in death February 12, 1919. She was the mother of three children, Max who died in infancy, Nellie who died at the age of three, and George who is at home. Her death oc¬ curred Dec. 26, 1920, at the age of 77 years, 7 months and 23 days.
She was a member of Trini¬ ty M. E. church, having joined when she was about sixteen years of age. She was a char¬ ter member of the Woman's Re¬ lief Corps and one of its able workers until poor health inter-' fered. She will be greatly miss¬ ed by her many friends who sympathize with the bereaved ! ones.
Besides the son there also survive one sister, Mrs. Eliza Frese of Elmore and a brother, Geo. W. Luckey of Los Angeles, California.
