Mrs. Henry Arndt died early Tuesday morning, -Jan. 21, 1919, aged- 31 years, 10-"months' and 15 days. .Though she had not been very well for about a year her death was due to {he influenza which she contracted avweek be¬ fore her final surnmons from this earthly v career.? Tlje two older children brought- the disease- home from school and her weak-0' ened condition made her an easy ^victim. '\ • -
Mrs. Arndt f was the only child of Mr. and Mrs. Henry iWitty, living about tthree miles north¬ west of JElmore^and with the ex¬ ception of nine months following her marriage she has always lived tin the house where she was born, ,March 6, 1887. She was married to Henry Arndt March 36, 1907, and to this union -six children were born, four of wrhom still sur¬ vive, two boys and two girls^ She, is survived also by the bereaved husband and parents, besides many other relatives and, friends.
The funeral was heljci at 1 o*clock today (Thursday) at the home' of the parents, conducted by Rev. Nicholas of the U. B. church of which she has been a faithful member since girlhood.'1 Burial in Union cemetery. The bereaved family have the sym¬ pathy of all in their sad hour. •£•. .
