Lindsey Farmer Dies Suddenly, Well Known Here
Elmore relatives and friends of j Perry Anstead, prominent farmers 1 living south of Elru®re, were pain- jfully shocked to learn of his un- 'expected death Friday afternoon, iat 4:15. Death was due to re¬ spiratory paralysis which took place after Mr. Anstead had un¬ dergone dental work in a Fre¬ mont dentist's office. After be¬ ing stricken, an inhalator was used on Mr. Anstead for an hour but to no avail. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 1:30 at the 1 residence and later at the Luther¬ an church at Four-Mile House. Interment was in Union cemetery here.
Born in Washington Twp., south of here, Mr. Anstead had lived practically all his life in the vicinity of his present home. He was the son of Mrs. Louisa and the late Jacob Anstead of Elmore and besides his wife, Mary, sons Leward and Harold Anstead of Fremont and* one daughter, Mrs. Glendale Haas, also of Fremont, he is survived by his mother, liv¬ ing here; also a sister, Mrs. Burch Overmyer and brothers Elam, Horatio, and Clarence Anstead all of Elmore and a brother Daniel of Lindsey and nine grandchildren
